Exporting a database and table from Sybase ASE 15.7
Dear Friends,
What command do we need to use to export or backup a database and table with data created in Sybase ASE 15.7 DB server?
I do not have control center. When I tried Export wizard from "Data" menu in Sybase Interactive SQL (Version-11.0.1) on windows, I got error "There is nothing to export".

How to access Sybase ASE16 with ODBC?
Hello,
I have a SAP System 7.4 running under LinuX Suse and Sybase ASE 16. My developers need to access Sybase using OBDC, these external database runs under Windows and it´s SQL Express. I think the way to go is using unixODBC, but I don´t know how to set it. unixODBC is already install, but I´m not sure if I need an additional library or how to set it.
Any clue?

64 BIT Sybase.ADONet4.ASEClient.dll dont support unnamed parameters
We are migrating from 32 bit asp.net website to 64 bit asp.net website.
we have number of stored procedure calls calling Sybase.Data.AseClient.dll in "EXEC sp_test ? " format from our database layer.
with the new 64 bit DLL Sybase.ADONet4.ASEClient.dll the above SP call format is throwing an exception Incorrect syntax near '?'.
following is the stack trace

I created server, then created license for my server ( unserver both served,without specified port) in sap service marketplace. Then paste to there: /sybase/XYZ/SYSAM-2_0/licenses
My first installation:
- ASE 15.7
- SLES (disabled firewall)
After installation, database worked for a certain period.
Anyone has some tips? What have I do?

I did installation on Windows 2008 R2 SP1. It is 64 bit operating system. I have installed Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 x64 Redistributable package. But if I install it error will showed "Error: The installer failed to load sylapij.dll. Please verify you have the correct and complete installer image. Have anyone see the error before and know how to resolve the issue?

Applying new license file for existing installation
Hi experts,
I have installed Sybase ASE 15.7 SP110 Developer Edition (DE) on a VM running RHEL 6.2 for x86_64. Now my company purchased a license for Enterprise Edition and my manager sent me a license file (*.lic). Now I'm wondering if I can apply this new license on my existing installation. If yes, could someone point me to the detailed steps to do that?

Sybase ASE - Update of Syslogins failed.
Hello All,
Last few days we are observing the below msg in Sybase errorlog. User complained that the login gets disconnected and have to rerun the reports.

Killing reorg rebuild spid recommended or not
